My name is Matt, I'm 17 years old, and I've been working with PHP for about 6 years. I see myself as sort of a minimalist, I like to keep things simple. If it can't be done simply, it should at least be beutiful while doing whatever it needs to do. I have a real pet peeve for ugly code, so I try and keep that looking as good as possible too.
I prefer the Macintosh operating system over Windows, and I've been using it for about a year. I'm guessing my minimalist views have something to do with that choice, but in my opinion everything is easier, even development (specifically, Coda.)
I have been using the jQuery library for most of my javascript since i found out about it when it was first becoming popular, and I've been following its development ever since. The philosophy behind the library is different than most libraries, and is, I think, the 'right way.'
Thanks to jQuery, my specialty is building dynamic web apps, using AJAX. This allows websites to feel more like desktop applications, which makes it more friendly to the user. This site uses AJAX for navigation.
